Pool and backyard are ending a 9-month facelift. Pool, decking, and outdoor kitchen are complete. Plantings and minor items finish this fall. Once done, we’ll post new photos, but renderings show what the space is becoming—it won’t look like past pics

We setup this waterfront home as a picturesque getaway with breathtaking balcony views, a deck boat to enjoy the open water (extra charge), and a private beach for fishing with fishing gear. This 2500 sqft family-style home boasts 2 bedrooms (2 queens and trundle bed with two twins) a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room and 2.5 baths making it a perfect get-away vacation. The open-concept living room, dining space on patio, and kitchen is ideal for the family gathering.

This waterfront home is nestled on the shores of Lake Wylie in Charlotte, NC. It's one of the rare properties on the lake with its’ own private beach - ideal for young children and families to enjoy. This 2500sqft family-style home boasts 2 bedrooms (2 queens and trundle bed with two twin mattresses) a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room and 2.5 baths making it a perfect get-away vacation. The cozy yet open-concept living room, dining space on patio, and kitchen is ideal for the family gathering.

Located just 20 mins from uptown Charlotte, this home is convenient to all the surrounding area has to offer (mall, restaurants, grocery, marina are all less than 5 minutes from the house). Even though you are close to retail shops and malls, you'll escape from the busy world when you drive down our 1/2 mile wooded gravel road that only serves 4 homes.

LIVING AREA:

The bottom level of the home is the large open-concept family room with lots of seating, a new 48 inch smart TV with ROKU and Netflix, a long dining room table on patio, Apple AirPlay & home pods, and a FULLY stocked kitchen with dishes, glassware, pot and pans, appliances, and a center island with seating. The top level of the home features a second bedroom with windows overlooking another large deck and the lake.

BEDROOMS:

There is one bedroom upstairs and one down. Downstairs master suite has a queen bed and living room space with a cozy couch. Upstairs bedroom has a queen with a trundle bed with two twin mattress. Perfect for a second couple or the kids. Each of the bedrooms are spacious and private. All towels and linens are provided and washed for you after your stay (guests are welcome to use washer/dryer).

DOCK:
There is a stone walkway from the house down to the dock, connected by another patio with a fire pit and chairs. Atop of the dock, there is a huge 35x35 outdoor living space with couches, dining table and chairs, a gas fire pit with adirondack chairs, speakers, ceiling fan, and full wifi. A great place to watch wildlife, watch the sun rise/set, or just relax with some cocktails with your family and friends. Also includes space to tie up your own boat on the side.

AMENITIES:

There is a private walk way from the house to the private beach area and sitting area on the shore. The house is equipped with High-speed broadband Wi-Fi internet that works all the way down to the beach.

This home has three smart TV's with Apple AirPlay as well as Netflix, Hulu and assorted live channels. You can access the high speed wireless internet from anywhere on the property. The TV’s are located in the living room, master bedroom, and upstairs bedroom.

DOCK AND LAKE ACCESS:

Guests have dock access and may tie up a boat alongside the dock. Boat slips are not available. Please let us know if you plan to bring a boat so we can explain the tie-up location.

The lake is huge -- full of beautiful houses, on the water restaurants with boat parking (T-Bones!), and tons of cool Sand Bars and islands to hang out on -- EXPLORE IT!

LARGE BEACH FOR SWIMMING OR COZY FIREPIT NIGHTS!

Our Casita is a 5 minute walk from the public beach area that includes multiple swings, benches, kids playground and walking paths. Includes a large firepit with wood (included) and unlimited views!

Guest Access:

The Casita is your private accommodation. Your hosts live next door and are nearby if you need assistance during your stay.

Pool and hot tub

The pool and hot tub are reserved for guests staying at the Casita and are available from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Any use by approved daytime visitors should be agreed with your hosts in advance.

Normal hot-tub heating is included in your stay. Optional pool heating is available for $100 per day. Please request pool heating at least 24 hours in advance; same-day requests may be accommodated when practical.

The heating system can heat only one at a time—either the pool or the hot tub. Please tell us which you'd like heated first. You can request a switch during your stay by messaging us, but allow time for the other to warm up. Heating time depends on the amount of water, its starting temperature, and the weather; the larger pool generally takes longer.

Dock and lake access

Guests have dock access and may tie up a boat alongside the dock. Boat slips are not available. Please let us know if you plan to bring a boat so we can explain the tie-up location. Guests are welcome to fish from the dock.

Kayaks are included with your stay. Paddleboard and motorboat rentals can be arranged separately, with availability and pricing confirmed in advance.

Getting Around:

Uber and Lyft are very active in Charlotte. Ask us about our connection for pontoon boat rentals!

Other Things to Note:

Guests and visitors

A maximum of eight guests may stay overnight, and everyone staying overnight must be included in the reservation.

Please obtain approval through Vrbo messaging before inviting daytime visitors. The total number of overnight guests and daytime visitors should not exceed eight at any time. Please also confirm whether your visitors may use the pool, hot tub, dock, or recreational equipment.

Parties, quiet hours, and community requirements

Parties and events are not permitted. Our HOA also prohibits large parties.

Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Please keep music, television, conversations, and outdoor activity at a considerate level throughout the day. Guests must comply with York County's noise ordinance at all times.

Smoking and vaping

Smoking and vaping are not permitted in the Casita or anywhere on the guest rental grounds, including the patios, pool area, and dock.

Dogs

We welcome up to two dogs, subject to the pet-size limit shown in our House rules. The fee is $300 per dog, per stay ($300 for one dog; $600 for two). Please include your dogs in the reservation. If you plan to bring two dogs, message us through Vrbo before booking so we can include the full $600 pet fee in your quote.

Please keep dogs off beds and furniture and out of the pool and hot tub, and pick up pet waste promptly. Contact us before making arrangements to leave a dog unattended at the property.

Service animals are accommodated in accordance with Vrbo's Service Animals Policy and are not subject to pet fees.

Pool, hot tub, and equipment

Pool and hot-tub hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Please choose either pool or hot-tub heating; only one can heat at a time. Message us to switch and allow warm-up time. The larger pool generally takes longer, depending on starting water temperature and weather.

After using the kayaks, please return them, along with paddles and life jackets, to their original storage locations.

Care of the property

Please let us know promptly if something is damaged or needs attention. If damage or unusual cleaning is necessary, we may request reimbursement for documented, eligible costs through Vrbo's applicable payment or damage-claim process.

Checkout

Please check out by the time shown in your reservation, return any keys provided, and lock the doors. We would appreciate used dishes in the sink and trash in the designated bins. Our cleaner handles dishwashing, stripping beds, laundry, and normal turnover cleaning. Please message us through Vrbo if anything needs attention.

Interaction with Guests:

We are available from 10 am to 8 pm.
