This home was one of the best vacation rentals we've ever stayed in. The location is amazing: right in the edge of a sandy, no-bank beach with incredible views, and easy access to the driftwood-covered shore, waves, tide pools, and a sandbar. The weather was unseasonably warm and sunny for mid-April (lucky us!) and our whole family enjoyed being on the beach during our weeklong stay. For anyone traveling with young children, this house has SO many toys: Magna-tiles, Duplo blocks, a huge wooden train set, play kitchen, sand/beach toys, children's art easel, etc., along with a shelf full of children's books and lots of games and puzzles. While the weather allowed us to spend a lot of time outside on the beach, my kids had just as much fun indoors as well. The house is not only well-stocked with the things you expect (pots and pans, beach towels, laundry supplies, etc.), it also has all the little things you don't always find in a vacation home: Kleenex in every room, complimentary toiletries (and coffee!), plastic wrap and aluminum foil in the kitchen for leftovers, access to basic cleaning supplies if you need them, rag towels and outdoor buckets for washing off sandy feet, etc. Clearly the owners stay here frequently themselves and have thought of all the little things that make your stay easier and more enjoyable.David was so easy to work with and super prompt to respond whenever we had a question.
