We stayed here for a night on a trip down south, and we were blown away with how nice the room and property were. The owners were extremely generous and provided us with smores to cook with our kids in the fireplace in the covered porch area. Couldn't recommend this place enough

Renovations created a lovely upscale stay, super comfortable bedding, lots of extras in the kitchen (Nespresso made amazing coffee!!!), and the electric fireplace made a cozy end to our day. Loved my stay. The room was perfect and beautifully decorated. They have a front and back patio and a common area with a TV and fireplace. It was a perfect mountain town experience plenty to do in the area as well, Clayton was only a 20 min drive. I will definitely be coming back for a longer stay.

The room was spotless, warm, inviting and so beautifully decorated for the holiday season. There were no staff on hand since it was the off season but the store was left open for us with instructions how to purchase items using venmo which worked great since we had one person fall ill and needed gatorade. The four people in our party enjoyed the peace of being the only ones on the premises Friday and Saturday. We would love to come again when there is staff at the lodge and bar to get the full experience but it will most definitely be on our "return here" list.
