We loved the Palazzo Podestà in Civitavecchia! It was above and beyond our expectations. The property was an amazing getaway with luxurious amenities and looks like a dream. The enormous junior suite had high ceilings and a large balcony with spectacular views of the water. The staff was very helpful with our requests of local dining, cultural activities, and transportation needs. The perfect location for staying near the port for your next cruise!

Gorgeous property. Had the whole top floor with a huge roof top terrace all to ourselves. Staff was incredible very helpful. Room was clean. Gym equipment in our room but the spiral staircase up to the top floor is not for those with mobility issues.

Beautiful impressive looking Italiante home with lovely pool and gardens. It is a short taxi ride from the train station and town, but short walking distance to a small grocer, a bar, icecream/coffee shop and pizza restaurant. The room was large, clean and had everything you could need including some snacks, beverages and a small refrigerator. A perfect relaxing place for the night before a cruise! The property does border the train, but there is a tall stucco wall for privacy and sound protection so it was not disruptive.

While every aspect of the property was very nice and the owners were so welcoming I was disappointed with our room . The view out a very small window was not brilliant and if it was open it was far too noisy to sleep. I think it was not good value for the money

Cristiano and her husband couldn’t have been better. We arrived from an overnight flight and which my wife and I both did not sleep.. we arrived earlier than expected. They were very gracious and let us into our room so we can take a quick nap after our nap. We took a short walk to find something to eat for lunch.. unfortunately for us it was a holiday and not much was open and we were very tired so we went back. Cristiano offer us a roof service, which was excellent. We then took another nap. When we woke the morning, it was beautiful. The view is excellent. She arranged for our trip to the cruise Port overall, it couldn’t have been better.

We had a last-minute reservation at Palazzo Podestà and were warmly welcomed by the owners of this stunning property. The outdoor area of this hotel is magnificent! Everything on the property and in our room was spotless. The room was very small (it was a loft but we didn’t use the second story at all). No elevator - use the beautiful marble stairs!

We been there 2 days before catching a cruise. We really enjoyed the quiet time all day at the pool and specially spend times under the patio to talk, listen musique, sing, drinks; il will remember this time all my life with my daugther. Nice souvenirs memories. Quiet room, good and safe organisation. The orwners are really nice and ready to reserve a taxi or anythings else. Nice coffee shop express nere the House Hope to return one day.
