Although the main entry was clean and painted as you proceeded up the stairway to the upper floors you notice it was seriously in need of upkeep and painting. It appears they made the lower level presentable when you arrive, but the rest of the property needed painting.

This is a excellent stay for a pre or post cruise night. We stayed one night pre cruise and the wonderful staff set up both our Airport to Hotel transfer and the next day for transfer to the ship from the hotel. Breakfast was huge not the normal bread and coffee setups we have had at some other european hotels. There are serval restruants and stores close by and even the train station is nearby. Staff was very helpful and the propery is in excellent shape. In fact next time we do a cruise I think we will spend 2 days there and see the rest of the port area.

Just a five minute walk from the train station. Excellent location with wide variety of eating options close by. Walk into the blocks away from the main road for better options. Room was great wirh good breakfast. To use cruise shuttle from the hotel you need to book early. There is also a free shuttle if you can walk a bit. We booked late and ended up using Uber. Expensive but reliable.
