Stayed her for one night before my cruise out of Civitecchia. Do yourself a favor, stay somewhere else. Place has NOT been updated since 1947 ( just guessing ). HAd a room on the 3rd floor, no elevator,m opened the window for fresh air, all kinds of bugs came in. Place is out of the way, and need to get a taxi to anywhere, which wasn't cheap. Manager made a 930 and shuttle reservation for the next day, then had no concept of any reservation that he made for us

this is a hotel but also a long term residence for workers in the area. hotel is very far from cruise port taxi 40 euro . there is nothing around except a pizza place and a coffee place which we did not use. walking to centre of town is about 40 minutes walk very long. room was clean but bare. with other choices available i would not stay there. too far and very simple hotel the pictures on expedia were not the true look of the hotel even the taxi guys did not know about this place. staff was nice and breakfast very good. the price paid was not worth for this hotel. expedia was misleading on the pictures and info ( distance from port )

The staff was great and very helpful. Great customer service. The hotel was clean and comfortable. My only complain is the room air conditioner did not work properly, it would constantly turn off until it failed. The swimming pool needed service. The hotel is a old style hotel but very well taken care.

This place was very outdated. The rooms had the bare minimal which made our stay very unenjoyable. The beds were uncomfortable and there was visible dust on everything, which makes you wonder how often they clean the place. Only one of the bedrooms had a TV, the other clearly had a connection for it but for some reason it was missing. Our room was also missing a hair dryer, and speaking to another guest, we found out they had one in their room. The staff wasn’t able to give us one since their hair dryers are supposedly wall-mounted. We also had an issue with the place’s location since it’s an 30 minute walk from any decent restaurants or stores and taking a taxi anywhere is going to cost a pretty penny. Overall a very frustrating experience. If you’re looking for a place to stay near Cevitavecchia port before going on a cruise there, avoid this place. Do yourself a favor and find a hotel closer to port.

Bahia del sole was under renovation, they accommodated us at the sister property Mercure Hotel. That was a bit more updated. We had a great balcony view that overlooked the docks. Beautiful property, friendly staff as well. Very convenient. Taxi from port to hotel was reasonable.

The property have area for a nice area for walking, a beautiful ocean view, a coozy dinner. The facility needs to improve better cleaning, the srea has a clay tennis court and there was a lot dust in the outside.

Unfortunately this is not a hotel we would choose to go to again. Very old and run down. I booked this as it had a pool and when we got there the pool was closed. The staff were friendly and the veiw from our room was lovely. Beds are old and uncomfortable. Not close to shops.
