About this property

The Garden Above the clouds

Where Luxury Meets Umbrian Authenticity

Nestled among the gentle Umbrian hills, just minutes from the historic center of Città di Castello, Il Giardino sopra le Nuvole is an exclusive retreat that masterfully blends contemporary design with the rustic and authentic charm of the Italian countryside.

Every space is designed to offer a complete sensory experience: the scent of olive trees, the warmth of natural materials, the quiet of the valleys fading into the horizon. Each room, with its own unique soul, invites the deepest relaxation: canopy beds, soft lighting, natural fabrics, and a harmonious color palette. The common areas, spacious and meticulously curated, evoke warm, ethnic atmospheres, while the open-plan kitchen provides a convivial yet refined setting.

Outside, a fully equipped pergola welcomes guests to share moments under the stars, while the panoramic view embraces the entire valley like a living postcard. Here, time slows down, the mind breathes, and the soul finds its rhythm.

Il Giardino sopra le Nuvole is much more than a simple bed & breakfast – it’s an experience.
It’s the perfect place for those who wish to reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort, for lovers of discreet beauty and refined hospitality, and for anyone seeking a stay that rejuvenates both body and spirit.
