We zijn vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar en kregen een goede uitleg over het huisje en de omgeving. Het is een mooi huisje met een typisch Trulli dak waardoor de slaapkamer koel genoeg bleef. Vanaf het terras hebben we genoten van het uitzicht over de streek. Cisternino was voor ons een goed basis van waaruit we de mooie omliggende streek en stadjes (als Alberobello en Locorotondo) hebben kunnen verkennen. Maar ook hebben we genoten van onze uitstapjes naar Matera en naar de kust. Verder vinden wij het oude centrum van Cisternino, met name nadat het 's avonds tot leven komt, een aangename plek waar je ook goed kunt eten. Kortom, we hebben het hier erg naar ons zin gehad.
