Perfect little getaway.

A nice little spot on the lake away from the city if that's what you're looking for. There's not much around and not many amenities, but it's perfect for a weekend getaway

Cabin is clean and simple. Quiet area and beautiful lake. Only complaint is that the water was a bit cold still to swim, but that’s Texas for ya.

Weekend getaway

Perfect spot for fishing, grilling or sitting by fire pit. We were even able to watch the Cowboys game. Stayed fri-sun, on Sunday, the water pressure was low. Great homemade salsa in store.

Great family weekend!

We enjoyed our time with the kids out on the lake. It was very relaxing and peaceful. The kids loved the futon. Great Lake views. Plenty of space for two adults and two kids. We loved every minute of our trip. The owner was very informative and available if needed. We will plan to go back for sure!

This property was exactly what it looks like--essentially a fishing cabin for a family or group of friends. Great access to the water and dock! The host was responsive and staff were available on site almost all of the time, far more than we expected. Everyone was nice. A couple of blips: On Saturday afternoon the water stopped working. The host was on it immediately, and it was repaired quickly, but a heads up would have been nice and staved off panic. Cleanliness: the AC units need a serious clean. My husband is allergic to mold and they are very moldy. BUT, the cabin itself was clean. We did run out of toilet paper late on Saturday--a stash in the cabin would have been nice. Finally, there was a noisy party in the next cabin until the early hours. Karaoke. All in all, we had a decent vacation and enjoyed (most of) our time.

Peace & tranquility

I very much enjoyed our stay at cabin #4. It was a very basic setup inside the cabin, yet comfortable. Had everything we needed. The best part was the private dock, where we enjoyed a full day of fishing. The scenery was beautiful as well. We enjoyed a few hikes, getting to know the landscape while we were there. Overall a beautiful & peaceful escape from the city life.

Nice cabin

We enjoyed our stay, but the loft was a little difficult for us older people to access. The owner was very helpful in all respects to help us get situated. He even sent a young man to our cabin shortly after our arrival to help me get live bait to fish with. The view was excellent.

Best Night Away!

We had such an amazing experience here! Jason was so welcoming and went out of his way to make my boyfriends birthday special. We had absolutely no issues. Any questions or recommendations we had, he was very eager to answer. Very nice and peaceful night away from our hectic lives! First time at cabin with 2 year old

We did a one night, 2 day stay and our 11 yr old and 2 yr old loved it! We finally got the 11 yr old in the outdoors away from electronics and he loved it. The lake, the fire pit, the cookout and smores. The 2 yr old wanted to be on the big porch with her cup and snacks the whole time. We needed the night away.!

Great for the price

Our night at this cabin was pretty fun. The only complaint we have is that with a recent knee surgery getting up the stairs is difficult to say the least. Be sure and put the air conditioner off economy mode to keep it cold in the summer. It is right across the street from the lake.
