bad/scary part of town

The area is scary at night. I was accosted by a group of men while trying to enter the building. I ran away and found other accommodations. I asked to cancel or at least the cleaning fees waived by the host but there was no response.

Cincy getaway

Some negatives, but mostly positive. We booked on Hotels.com, and agrred to a price,but were charged a higher rate after the fact! Thats unethical, and dirty! The free parking for this place is around back, not in the best of area. Long way to carry luggage. Second floor apartment for those with difficulty with stairs. This is in a transitioning area and will be truly very good in future. Many street people around, but never felt unsafe. Smaller space, for a couple or singles only. Can be noisy at night as you are downtown with buses and trams running constantly. For positives, the place was modern and clean. Murphy bed takes up anlot of the space when left down, but was very comfy to sleep on. Air conditioning works well but very noisy when it kicks on all night. Shower worked well. Never used the kitchen but modern. Lots of little bars and restaurants very close. All we tried and enjoyed. With in walking distance to TQ L soccer stadium. Free tram system very close to run you north to the Findlay Market or down to Great American ballpark or to football stadium. We are in our 60's and not a place we would normally rent, but other than the over charge of fees, we really enjoyed our short stay here, and really would consider again knowing how the area is transitioning.

Fun little spot in Over The Rhine

Cozy studio unit in the heart of OTR around the corner from Washington Park. Had everything I needed and made it easy to walk to plenty of things. As others have noted, the parking lot is situated such that you have to walk more or less around the block for access, but that's the only negative and easily remedied if you park at the curb to load/unload. Please note, despite lacking a mention in the listing, there is a pet fee ($50 as of April 2024) you'll be charged after booking as an add on if you choose to bring a pet. Keep that in mind when comparing properties if you're travelling with a pet.
