This hotel isn’t somewhere I’d ever go again for several reason. There were stains throughout the room. The breakfast was ok at best. The pool looked like a dump. The surrounding area wasn’t very pleasant to look at.

The receptionist at the Holiday Inn Express Cincinnati West went above and beyond to take care of my very important guest from Japan who stayed there on 7/25/2026. I don’t remember the young lady’s name, but she mentioned she was originally from Pennsylvania. Thank you, Miss — your help was truly appreciated.

Needs to be updated some. Lots of work trucks in the parking lot. I had to take a cold shower, water would not get hot. They it was because the room was at the end of the hall and their system had trouble getting hot water there.

6/10 Okay

Liked: Staff & service
The overall experience was great. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially at the reception. However, the experience with the breakfast buffet staff was not as positive—one staff member seemed to watch our every movement, which was off-putting. The hotel itself is nice, but it definitely needs to be revamped, as the furniture and amenities, such as the gym, feel outdated.
