Incredible unit, wonderful host!
My original lodging for our trip to St. Croix was cancelled last minute. I was a little panicked that no one would accommodate me, my wife, and teenage daughter. We reached out to Dan in a pinch after seeing this place online, and he responded almost immediately. He was able to accommodate us, insured we knew where we were going (we arrived very late), and quickly alleviate my stress.
The space itself is immaculate. The kitchen has been completely remodeled, had way more space than we could have possibly needed, and made me want to remodel my kitchen at home. The open living space allowed us to come home from the beach, relax, make snacks, and watch movies. The bedrooms were also large, plenty of room for our luggage, and the bedding comfortable. It was starting to get really warm on our trip, so having the AC units made quite the difference--especially for sleeping. The views from the front porch are fantastic. The photos do not do it justice. I enjoyed having my morning coffee looking at the water and my wife liked the outdoor seating in the afternoon to read.
We had not intended to stay on the east end of the island since we weren't that familiar with the place. There were some great restaurants minutes away. Our favorites were Blue Water Terrace and Duggans. We also found brunch at Ziggy's gas station (it's a real thing) to be incredible. The beaches were also amazing. We did the hike down to Jack and Isaac's beach--a highlight of the trip.
There is so much that we did not get to do this time. We will be back! And we will stay here again.
