Highly recommend!

We arrived late at night on a late flight, but the room was already warm with the heater turned on, which was such a thoughtful touch. It made us feel very welcomed and allowed us to relax right away. The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. I had a great stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

Affordable and large accomodation. Have stayed here a few times now and been impressed everytime, until this visit… We weren’t notified of the gigantic construction project right behind the apartment we were put in. Neighbours had a dog which while friendly and kept under control our child is scared of them. The backyard was locked off and grass and gardens way overgrown. The shower was covered in black mould and the floor was sunken in so the water pooled… sad to see it has gone downhill

Staff very friendly and helpful. Propery on the older side but was clean and tidy and bed was comfortable. Only 10 to 15 minute walk to most places in Christchurch but plenty of transport options if you don't want to drive.

This is an old 1960s property which has been amateurishly renovated. Taps and kitchen cupboards are that old! Bedroom is a tight squeeze with 4 bedspaces. It is on main roads with traffic noise and sirens. There are no powerpoints in the bathroom. The microwave was in a dangerous location on top of the fridge. However, the proprietors were helpful and very nice.

I'll definitely recommend the Admiral as I found it very convenient and the owner is very very helpful. The whole stay was seamless. We checked in at midnight, but the owners were so thoughtful that they left some food and biscuits for us at late night.

The motel was spacious and clean. We had a couple of issues during the first night of our stay, but the owners saw to them as soon as possible. Good location close to the city centre which made all local amenities accessible, especially by car. The owners were very welcoming and are doing their best to inject some life into what is an older style motel.

Below average accommodation

Nice location, safe place to parkand leave car, exterior and grounds in good condition. Interior is very dated and worn. Kitchen very old, stove very old and dirty, refrigerator old and froze food instead of keeping cold. Couch was old and broken. Carpet old, dirty and frayed. Everything was very old and heavily used.

An older style motel, very clean and decorated nicely. Good amenities with separate bedroom and full kitchen. We only stayed the one night, it was comfortable and fairly close to shops.

Convenient for what we wanted. Nice grounds. Google kept directing us to access from Colombo St which was not possible. Living & bedrooms were nicely done as have been refurbished but bathroom & kitchen are way past their use-by date as is the spouting. Attention to detail in cleaning could be vastly improved.
