Right next to Riccarton mall, and heaps of food options, couple of bars close if that your thing. Not sure when it was built, but made it through the earthquakes, showing its age but clean and warm, so more than happy with our stay.

The motel is a very clean and tidy establishment. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The staff are friendly and the parking area is roomy. a shopping centre and supermarket are very close by. Like many motels these days the cooking facilities have been reduced to a microwave, toaster and kettle so are basic.

There's always a slight hesitation in booking unknown economy accommodation in an unfamiliar city. Our weekend in Christchurch was undoubtedly enhanced by staying in this really pleasant motel. The staff were really accommodating and helpful and our room was well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Free onsite parking was a bonus in a city location.They even retrieved some coats we accidentally left in the wardrobe - thank you, once again.
