Great stay at Chongqing Nuanyu Homestay! The location is perfect, very close to all major scenic spots. Most landmarks are within walking distance. The room is clean and comfortable, the host is super nice. Highly recommended for sightseeing.

This homestay offers the ideal location to experience authentic Chongqing. After watching the lights at Hongyadong, we could stroll back slowly without squeezing crowds. The room is bright and well cleaned. We were lucky to catch the drone show nearby. Friendly service plus fantastic views, highly recommend to anyone visiting the 8D magic mountain city.

The view from the room was amazing! We were even very lucky to see the drone show from the room at night right in front of us! Room was clean, services are great, staff is very helpful and greeted us right at the entrance. Location is very convenient to 24 hour food joints and easy access to all tourists attractions!

THIS HOMESTAY MUST HAVE SOME OF THE BEST VIEWS IN ALL OF CHONGQING! THE VIEW FROM MY ROOM WAS ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR! THE ROOM DID NOT CONTAIN A TABLE OR LUGGAGE RACK - THESE WOULD HAVE BEEN HANDY. ROOMS WERE QUITE BASIC BUT CLEAN AND IN A GOOD LOCATION. NOT REALLY IN A MAIN TOURIST AREA, THERE ARE LIMITED RESTAURANTS AND SHOPPING IN THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY. SERVICE FROM STAFF WAS LOVELY AND THEY CAN BE REACHED ON WECHAT OR WHATSAPP. THANK YOU FOR A LOVELY STAY.

A decent apartment for our trip. The views from the balcony is just as pictured and the staff was helpfull and nice :) But the cleaning was not that good, and when we arrived the floors were dirty and there was some dead files here and there. But they cleaned up after asking :)

This review falls into two sections. Initial impressions Room facilities Upon arrival at 0100 we had difficulty entering the complex and had to wait 25 minutes for the representative to arrive. This complex consisted of two high rise towers and appeared very dated. Once inside the walk to my apartment was dirty, dark and there was a musty smell. I was very concerned and under normal circumstances I would have walked out. However once inside the apartment I found it clean. In summary I would not stay there again it’s only suitable for young backpackers. Anyone over 25 avoid.

The add makes it out as a hotel but it is actually like an Air BnB/ APARTMENT. I naively didn't expect to have about 2 flights of stairs from the street with the add saying hotel & I made sure there was an elevator. Beware of the stairs if you have heavy luggage. The hallway from the elevator was a bit sketchy and not well lit but that could be remedied. I have to say this apartment was in a great location. Stunning views of the river at night. The apartment it self was adequate for our stay of 4 fays.

It isn't really a hotel, more of a homestay in an apartment in a residential complex. You need to find your way to level 4 of the East tower to check in and get your keys. The room was clean and modern, but only provided disposable towels. No coffee provided. The view from the balcony was pretty decent. The complex itself was quite run down. It's in an interesting area, right on the river, near the Raffles complex.

There was visible mold in the bathroom, especially around the sink area, which was concerning. Additionally, the walkway leading into the room was very dark, making it feel unsafe. The glass door to the balcony did not have a lock and remained slightly open, which made us feel uncomfortable leaving our belongings in the room or sleeping there overnight. Another issue was the check-out experience. The host initially agreed to a one-hour late check-out but later changed his mind, creating an uncomfortable and awkward situation. This lack of honesty and flexibility added to an already disappointing stay.
