This was a lovely little cottage very close to the river and you can walk down to the river from the cottage. The host, Linda, was very kind and gracious and had lots of “extras” like popcorn and granola bars and water for guests and she has a wonderful flair for decorating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

We were pleased to stay here during the eclipse in April. The home is setup with all the amenities needed for a convenient stay, and our host was very gracious and friendly. While we felt out in the country, everything was close enough to be a convenient 15-20 minute drive. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Loved this place so much! So inviting and peaceful! My kids absolutely enjoyed it, they enjoyed the nearby creek which kept them pretty busy! What a great stay for our family! This retreat is a sweet, cozy cottage right on the banks of the Brazos River. It’s only a few miles from Waco but you’ll feel miles away from the world! The house had everything possible you could need. It is well appointed and was comfortable sleeping for 6. There is great outdoor space with a fire pit and chairs right by the river. We will definitely look to stay here again!
