Prior to arriving I received a call from the hotel asking if I had any questions regarding our trip or if we would like to reserve a table at the restaurant Upon arrival the car park was very busy and we found it difficult to find a space. The reception staff were very friendly but they didn’t provide us with any information about the restaurant, breakfast timing, health club or about the surrounding areas. The room was spacious and clean but the bathroom was quite tired and could benefit from a refresh, the waste bin was quite rusty around the bottom, shower leaked flooded the floor. Eating in the Farmer, Butcher, Chef Restaurant was reasonable, but pricey, but I suppose that part of the Goodwood product Car parking could be improved by implementing separate parking for hotel guests and health club guests. Check in could be vastly improved, just with some simple steps to make the experience more memorable Bathroom definitely needed a refresh Generally the stay was OK but nothing special too write home about

The breakfast was excellent! The whole place was very well kept and run by some really helpful staff. The room was top quality with the big let-down being the bed. The mattress was super springy and seemed to be a very old style mattress with springs poking through in places. Every time either my partner or I moved, we woke the other one up as it was like sleeping on a trampoline. To finish on a high note, the leisure facility access was a big plus and it was all really well run by the team. Would definitely consider a stay again if a firm mattress could be provided.

Beautiful room and grounds. A few ants in our bathroom and a bathroom door that was hard to open, but otherwise a good stay. £20 for a glass of house red wine at the bar was a little excessive too. Staff were helpful and loved the pool and location.

Great hotel but the rooms are very dated. Hotel feels a bit like a maze. Lower rating given because I booked a room with a baby aged 3 months. They put us on the 1st floor knowing there are no lifts in the hotel so we have to carry a pram up and down, which is super inconvenient especially when the baby was sleeping. Friends of ours who travelled with us for the weekend had no baby and were given a ground floor room even though we were told none were available even though we both booked the same room type. Parking facility is great, the estate itself is excellent.
