Modern House, Sleeps 6, near Chichester & Goodwood Events

This modern house is a real gem & is a few minutes walk from Chichester’s busy high street. It is the perfect place to getaway for families or friends, with so much to see & do in the local area. The house is located in a quiet residential area & has it’s own parking & private garden which is a lovely space to relax. All rooms are light, bright & spacious for all to enjoy.

Our semi detached house has two levels.

Downstairs consists of a large porch with plenty of shoe storage and a coat hook. There is also a handy downstairs toilet with a funky colour pallet for all the family to enjoy. The large window in the lounge lets in lots of light making it a bright, spacious room. It has two large sofas (one of which is a double sofa bed) a decorative fireplace and TV. The newly fitted kitchen, with its double aspect windows and large doors leading to the garden, lets in lots of natural light. There is a breakfast bar with stools and a dining table and chairs making this area ideal for entertaining. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment for self catering purposes.
The house also benefits from it’s own enclosed garden with doors opening out from the kitchen/dining area. There is a mud kitchen and sandpit, ideal for families staying along with toys inside the house for guests to use also. Garden furniture is supplied for you to relax in this suntrap on a summers evening.

Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms. One is a kingsize bedroom with lots of light and space along with a large wardrobe for guests to use. The second is a twin bedroom (beds can be pushed together with advanced notice) with hanging space and a travel cot is available if required. There is also a modern bathroom with a bath and stand up shower attachment, toilet and sink.

Guests have use of the entire house. A travel cot and high chair can be supplied.

Location:
The house is ideally situated only a 15 minute walk from Chichester town centre with it’s many shops, restaurants, museums and cafes. If you are looking for a place to stay whilst attending a Goodwood event – the house is only a 12 minute drive from Goodwood Motor Circuit, House and Horse Racing. There are many taxi companies operating in the area, please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any help in organising this.
There is an abundance of things to do locally – The countryside in the beautiful South Downs National Park and the south coast are within a short drive as are the towns and cities of Arundel, Bognor Regis and Portsmouth with outlet shopping at Gunwharf Quays.
A car is not essential with this property as there is a bus and train station in Chichester if you wish to explore further afield. The number 60 bus stop is a 10 minute walk away and from here you can get to Midhurst.
There are two One Stop convenience stores, both within a 10 minute walk. Chichester boasts many beautiful parks, some of which with play equipment for children. Oaklands Park, Priory Park and Bishops Palace Gardens are all a short walk away and offer stunning views of this historic city.

Guest Access:
The house is located in a residential area, just a 15 minute walk North of Chichester town centre. With it’s own driveway, two cars can park on the drive outside the house and permit street parking is located nearby, along with other free parking in nearby streets.
