About this space
Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. A recently built and decorated chalet in East Wittering on the Sussex South Coast. Beach and water sport lovers will love the location, just a short stroll to the beaches at the Witterings. With plenty of space to store your bikes, surf boards, paddle boards and wet suits we're sure you will have a great time on the beach before coming back for an al-fresco shower!

The space
This charming chalet has been built in our garden but is completely private. You have your own front door which takes you into the access corridor where you can store all your beach kit or bikes. Heading through into the small courtyard area you will find the outdoor solar shower, perfect for washing the sand and salt of you before you enter the chalet. Inside, the studio chalet is all you need for a couples' break. On the right as you enter is the bathroom with walk in shower. Continuing on in the main living area is the kitchenette (with hob but no oven), the living area with smart TV and good Wi-Fi and the fantastic King sized bed. Finally, there are French doors which open onto the outdoor dining area.

Guest access
There is a private parking space for one car on the shared drive with our house. East Wittering has plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants. East Wittering beach is a short stroll away. West Wittering beach is further along about 20 minutes walk or you can drive and park there.

Other things to note
* Standard check-in time is 4pm onwards and check-out time is before 10am. * Please note a fee of £100 for lost keys and £50 for call outs if locked out.

Gorgeous stay. Highly recommended. Worth every penny. Clean, Quiet, lots of local shops nearby. Really relaxed feeling, which is what you want from a midweek break.

The property is quite small. It feels squeezed into the adjoining property, especially the outside space, which is small and fenced in but sits within the larger garden and very close to a large paddling pool. It didn't feel private at all. Most of the property was clean but the fan was very dusty and there were some cobwebs on the ceiling. Overall it didn't feel very welcoming or attractive as a place to spend a few days as a couple with a dog. It wasn't a space that we would have enjoyed spending time in. For that reason we did not stay and returned home to London. I would not describe this as a chalet. It is a self contained studio conversion.

Wonderful bed/mattress, 10/10. Kitchen and bathroom were excellent. Sitting areas; outside, eating/kitchen/bar, couch were all excellent. Only a 2 block walk to the beach. I arrived on the hottest day on record ever in May, a bank holiday to boot (I didn't know). Busy on the road but delightful upon arrival. Pasty next door offered the use of a power sprayer for my vehicle . The number of dogs on the beach and in the varying nearby establishments (The Shore Inn, The Goat) made me miss mine at home in the States. Extremely welcoming all-around.
