A very well priced motel in a very expensive area. Good access to downtown Chicago via the El as the motel is only 10 minute from the station. It's not a fancy motel but it was, for the price, very nice.

Chicago hotels have become very expensive! This was a more moderately priced hotel and it fit the bill. We were not expecting a 5-star property, and this was not. As we expected, it was older and could use some updating, but it did what we were looking for--provided us a safe, clean, comfortable place to stay for a night. And a step above the grab-n-go breakfast so many places now offer. A good value.

The room was a decent size for three travelers. The breakfast at 8:00AM was barely there (not much left and no one to replenish. We left and ate breakfast somewhere else. The staff was pleasant enough and efficient.

The hotel is very dirty in general. The hallways and stairwell in particular are not kept clean. It’s starting to look as bad as the red roof in down the street.

The headboard was covered in dust, and the ice machine was broken. The girl at the desk was nice and check-in was easy. We wanted a cheap hotel for one night and this fit the bill perfectly. The breakfast options looked too weak to even investigate further. Parking was right outside our window, so that was nice. Would stay here again when visiting King spa.

Staff was very nice, bed was clean but the condition of the walls and things like tv remote were sticky and didn’t work, hotel smelled like weed but can’t blame the staff for that. Good price for hotel but don’t expect much, if they redid the interior I would stay here every time
