If you want a cheap and affordable room. Motel 6 is the best option to go with. Clean room, helpful staff. Only downside was the ice machine was out of order for some reason.

If you are in desperate need for housing this will do the job. We were traveling with 2 dogs so also didn’t have many options. The staff and service was great. The property itself is not the best. It was really loud at night. 5 stars for staff, 2 stars for the actual place.

This motel 6 is exactly what you pay for. It’s definitely for saving a buck—thin bed sheets and messy landowner special in the rooms being paint and stain jobs, etc. that being said, it had good space and decent location for a 1/4th of the price of hotels in downtown Chicago. We came for a wedding. The property is gated in which gives a safer feel especially in leaving your cars and they don’t enter the rooms during your stay unless requested so you’ll have privacy.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the night after we went to a concert. It was a decent place to stop and get some sleep for a few hours. I wouldn’t want to stay more than one night though. The tv didn’t work, there was no blanket, only a small sheet, someone smoked in the room prior to my stay (there was a leftover smoked roach by the bed), and there were no amenities in the room beyond two small bars of soap. However, the staff was very friendly and the area was quiet.

This hotel is a great value. Most were charging double or triple this price. My only complaint is the noise from the street. It's not very soundproof. The staff were wonderful. I would stay here again. Oh yeah, the parking is free. You don't find that often in Chicago. A security guard is present too.

Well the room looked clean upon arrival, but after walking around with no shoes on floors felt like sand in your feet , very dirty , bed was hard and pillows were flat , glad I brought my own , very noisy outside , traffic in and out all night headlights shining in our room . Outside is kept very clean , painted up nice .
