No power to outlets in 2 bedrooms . Also thermostat didnt work. Otherwise , not as bad as I was expecting

First I do want to say the host was very responsive! The house was not clean there was a broken window in the basement. I do think that should have said in the listing that the other couch and bathroom were in the basement! The bathroom floor in the basement was coming up. The house smelled very bad. The house is very cute it it was kept up on. We had issues with the place and addressed with the host and the host do respond and told us we could leave and they would understand. We decided to stay since our daughter was graduating navy boot camp the next day and that’s the address we gave her command. It’s super close to base which is great! Once the host fixes the issue this will be a great place to stay for graduation!!! Parking in on the street. We had no issues with parking or the neighborhood. Only 30-45 mins from downtown Chicago. Close to a lot of places to eat!

Rented this property for my sons navy graduation, Base was only 6 minutes from the home. Tons of places to eat and shop no more then 15 minutes away. The house was super cute, very clean. we flew in at 10am and without even having to ask the host reached out and let us know it was ready for check in a few hours early which was great. left some packaged up congrats grad decor that hopefully didnt get thrown out and the next navy fam can use.
