Not for those who care about cleanliness

When I look for hotels, I am ok with simple, but they must be clean. I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone that cares about cleanliness. The room I was assigned to was extremely dirty. A lot of dust in obvious places that should have been cleaned, such as a side table, stains of a sticky beverage splashed on furniture, dust in other places that had clearly been there for weeks, if not months, clumps of hair in the shower drain, and a couch completely covered in all sorts of stains. The front desk was kind, but the housekeeping program of this hotel needs a full revamp. I ended up finding another place to stay as it made me concerned about other cleanliness issues that are not visible to the eye.

It does not even qualify for hostel. Rooms, hallways and elevators are way too small and not clean. Worst stay I ever had. Definetly do not recommend. Miay be ok as a pet hotel.

I loved the character and asthetic of the interior. It was classy, some areas have seen some heavy traffic but it builds the character of the place. I had a shared room with 3 others mostly just kept to ourselves other than a hello or good morning. Staff were very helpful if i had any questions. My only complaint is the price of the drinks

The room was incredibly dirty. The carpet, walls, and surfaces were all very dirty. The lamps were so dim, and one of them was unplugged/not functioning. Sleeping in this room was almost impossible when thinking about the state of the room itself. This is such a same - I usually love Freehand hotels. The staff was very nice and tried their best, but this location needs a deep clean and overhaul.

I would highly recommend avoiding this disgusting hotel. Our room had blood stain curtains, only one light source for the whole room (a ceiling light that is a rattan shade and looks like it’s seen better days). If I had paid for trip insurance on this room, I would have left the second I stepped foot into the room. The whole room was dark and disgusting.

The only thing that gives it a quality status is its location. The rooms were absolutely filthy, which was only because the hotel manager does not provide proper cleaning equipment for their hard working staff. We saw the cleaning staff having to drag cleaning equipment that was decades old from floor to floor. They were doing their best. I urge you to book at one of the other nearby hotels, even if there is an extra charge. This place was nearly $200/night and was worth maybe $50/night.
