Family and pet friendly historic Queen Anne Victorian home close to Beach, Northwestern, El/Metra, Fine dining, The City, and everything!

NOTE: My backyard fence is currently down on north side of my lawn due to recent wind damage.

Great Location

Upon arrival I was surprised to find a card and a wedding gift from the owner. What a kind gesture!! My family of 8 stayed here very comfortably. We had everything we needed from snacks in the kitchen to Qtips in the bathroom. This was a very clean and well kept home. It is located close to the Lake which I loved. It is also close to restaurants and public transportation. Not to mention a very safe and friendly neighborhood to walk in. I would recommend this VRBO to friends.

Perfect location, lovely home

Beautiful, clean home with plenty of space in a safe neighborhood, a few blocks from the Main Street El and easily accessible to Evanston and Chicago. Scott was an absolutely fantastic host, responsive and helpful at every step of the way. I would be thrilled to stay here again.

Exceptional place by the lake

A group of five friends from around the country came to Evanston for a weekend of intense meetings and socializing. This house provided a perfect place to stay. Big enough that everyone could have a space of their own, yet comfortable for gathering together and chatting. In a safe and comfortable neighborhood, it is just a couple of blocks to Lake Michigan and Lee St Beach. The shops on Main Street and access to the L are just a few blocks in the other direction. Scott was very responsive and easy to work with. We're talking about making this an annual event -- if we do we will definitely reserve this property again.

College drop off weekend

We had a wonderful stay at this property! We came from the west coast to drop our daughter off for her first year at Northwestern. The location was convenient to the campus and Chicago and it had all of the amenities we needed. The neighborhood was peaceful. And the host was so gracious and accommodating. He even greeted us with NU swag. Truly, an outstanding experience! We will carry fond memories with us.

What a great place to stay!

Even my picky daughter was impressed! The host was gracious and easy to communicate withquickly. There was easy parking ( golden in Chicago!) The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of spaces for our group of 7 to gather and talk and eat and laugh. The beds were comfy. The location was excellent. We were a block or so from a lakeside park. It was only a couple of blocks from the L station and restaurants. Oh...and be sure to order some deep dish pizza! We had such a great time. Thanks, Scott!

Amazing location in Evanston. Beautiful neighborhood with mature trees lining the street. Just a short walk to Lake Michigan, beach and Northwestern University. Home is centrally located to dining and coffee shops. Scott, was such a gracious host. If we’re ever back in the area we would definitely be in touch with Scott first.

Old Charm

Cute house just outside Northwestern's Campus. The location is perfect. There were several higher end restaurants within a mile or two, and a hand full of casual pubs as well. It was a rather short drive into the city for us to catch a Cubs game too.. The house itself was a "turn of the century' charmer. It slept 5 Adults with ease. The host was one of the easiest I've ever dealt with. If you're planning to be in the area, you can book this with ease.

Wonderful Experience

Beautiful property, and a fantastic location. Close to the lake, perfect for dog walking. Scott is so helpful and communicative. I am so grateful to have had a place to stay where all the critters were welcome.
