Amazing Stay

We enjoyed the stay. Property is located in quiet area. Very beautiful campus. The staff was good, and very quick and easy check in.

The room could use some renovation and a deep cleaning. Bed was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning works well. Great water pressure in shower. Most cable stations were unavailable. There’s a place to hang clothes. Fridge works. There is no deadbolt on the outside door. No phone to the front desk, but when you walk over the staff is friendly and helpful. Not fancy, but it’s in a quiet area close to lots of restaurants and activities and within my price range.

Rooms need upgrading. Water hardly flows; extremely rusty; hot water not really hot. Outdoor check-in (in weather). Electric plugs outdated two-prong models and do not accept modern electric plugs

Midweek Getaway

It was a nice stay, quiet and relaxing. The room was very comfortable. There was a restaurant on the premises, but I didn’t try it. The proprietor gave me a delivery menu from a nearby place.

The staff were friendly and professional. The room was spacious and well-kempt for the price. Carpet could probably stand replacement, but overall clean, comfortable and quite a bargain for Chicago metro area. Not much in the immediate area, but then again that lent to a somewhat bucolic environs.
