The cost to completely repair everything that’s broken, dirty beyond fixing, or simply worn out would be millions. The hotel fills a niche near the bottom of the scale, but it’s there and it’s affordable and necessary. It fills a need for an affordable place to stay. A lot of little things repaired would make a difference.

My room was clean and comfortable, but the property felt dingy and dated. The woman who checked me in did not look very professional, but she was very helpful. My room did not have a hairdryer, but she promptly provided me one as well as a much needed charger.

Don't sleep on Chestertown Red. It has come from 3 to 8 1/2. The own needs to step up and fix the pool and start giving breakfast. But for now I will be back. Great Staff.

The price was very good. The room was clean and spacious. There were a few maintenance issues. Several light bulbs were burned out, the hair dryer did not work, the closet door was off its track, and the Satellite TV was not working. The staff were helpful but unsuccessful in programming the TV. For what I needed, a clean room to sleep, it was alright. The room had a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker all of which worked. The hot water was great and good pressure. I suspect the next time I stay there, these issues will be fixed.
