I can't speak highly enough of the staff at The Lambton. Check in was super easy and friendly and our room was even ready before check in time, Cheryl was wonderful. Adam was very helpful and friendly and went above and beyond for me when I had an issue. Fabulous place to stay and great location for shops and buses, had a great time, can't thank everyone enough.

Awful place. Couldnt lock room door. Bedding was dirty and had not been changed from previous customer. Drunk people in next room. Bar very noisy. Food edible.

Location was perfect. 4 min walk from train station and close to all shops, bars and restaurants. Bar in hotel was first class with extremely helpful staff who were always very friendly. Stayed during heatwave so the lack of air con, or a window that would open, were disappointing. Standing fan in room helped but sometimes just blew hot air around. Room in loft so was very hot. Decor/furniture very basic and dated but bed very comfortable. Bathroom needs some tlc - position of shower in bath quite dangerous. Overall, I enjoyed it but was it value for money? No, probably not.
