Good location and large carpark, easy check in and very close to centre, breakfast available for an additional fee, basic room and ok for a few nights, noisy road so not good for light sleepers and I did need to wear ear plugs, but overall ok for a weekend break as so close to all the bars and restaurants.

This is an alcohol free pub, which meant no rowdy people or noise. The food all has an Asian twist which worked well. Staff all courteous and helpful. Rooms were nice and warm. Will definately be coming here again.
I did try adding pics of the outside and the inside, but it just said they were invalid. Beautiful old building and the downstairs has a vast beautiful area with moulded ceiling and three Tudor style fire places.

very clean spotless room,thats it really very noisey humming from bathroom its on 24 /7 they do not turn it off even when asked i was early and the young man let me sign in anyway thanks for that.theres no lift its a steady 24 steps up to room 24 single room its tight squeeze between bed and wall to get round to bathroom and you have to fully open bathroom door to get back out.its about 10 minute walk to the centre mostly level.its on a very busy main road.

Good Location with easy access to the motorway network, stayed here 4 years ago and it had a lovely welcoming bar however this has now been replaced by a coffee shop. Not a show stopper as there are plenty of nearby places to eat and drink

Staff welcoming and nothing was too much trouble! Really liked the parking as we could keep our car parked until 3pm on the day we were leaving. Which to me was a great advantage. The rooms could certainly do with a revamp and some cosy furnishings & lamps. On the whole a good stay for us!
