I would rate this higher, as everything was reasonably nice, but our hair dryer was missing and we couldn't get a replacement. It sounds like a small issue, but my wife needed this just before checkout, and we were told one was being brought up. We saw nothing for 30 minutes, called again, and waited another 30 minutes with none coming. It was cold out and my wife had to travel with wet hair, which made the rest of the day's travel a bit miserable.

All staff were excellent during our stay. The booking experience with expedia was not pleasant with lots of incorrect information and challenges. The hotel staff remained professional and courteous in what was a very challenging situation.

Great location. Parking £17 per night. Although the room was lovely it did have mould on the net curtains and main curtains. The shower leaked and bathroom fan was not working and again mouldy. We did not get our room service during our 2 night stay even though we requested. We had to find the maid to request clean cups tea milk and sugar. Not what i would expect for £100 per night

Breakfast had a great choice, they were very quick to replace items. Staff very friendly. Room a little tired, however clean and staff helpful and polite, they work very hard. Parking was not great in that it was expensive, but we did get a space, so we were lucky.

Check in was abysmal we arrived slightly before our 3pm check in and was advised with others in the queue the room wasn’t ready till 3pm so at 3pm the queue for everyone checking formed all the way round the side and up the stairs to the floor above. There were 3 check in staff but to my amazement this reduced to 2 as the third staff member shift had finished at 3pm so we all had the long wait to check in which was time consuming as the 2 remaining staff had numerous checks for do to check people in. The people near the end of the queue after us must have been ultra patient as they were still waiting at 3.45pm.
