The guest bedroom bed was broken (needed to be replaced), the shower drain and sink drain were completely blocked in the guest bathroom, there was fecal matter left on the toilet, the condo was not cleaned when we arrived, the trashcan was broken. They gave us a unit that should not be offered to a customer, ever.

It was horrible. We arrived at 4pm, our adult children had just flown in for the holiday, only to find out at the counter thry had overbooked the resort and automatically bumped our reservation to seperate rooms. They didn't even make the rooms adjoining. Huge disappointment and completely altered the ability to open presents together as a family. I am so mad. I want a complete refund. The manager contacted the booking company while we all stood at the front desk counter, the help line hung up on her twice. So awful. ItI thought I was booking for a 2bdrm hotel suite and it was a timeshare nightmare. Grrr....

My room did not have a working fan in the bedroom and was only on the lowest setting so we had to buy a fan to set in a chair. The washing machine did not work. It did not drain and spin so my clothes were soaked with water that I had to hand wring out and dry in small amounts so I was still doing laundry after midnight. Our next door neighbors children kept trying to get into our room from the connecting door and then were throwing shoes, running up and down in the stairs, etc at 9:30pm. We had to talk to them multiple times. I was there because I was burying my Mother in Williamsburg Memorial Park Cemetery and truly did not need any of this. Also, a 10am checkout seems way too early.

The time share was rude and disrespectful we were told that we were going to get a free gift and when we got there they told us if we didn't stay at a 90 min meeting that we didn't know anything about we would not be refunded the $60 charged in our 💳. They were very rude and didn't try to understand we were unaware of what we were there for .

The room's view was great. The bathroom made the whole weekend poor at best. 1)Spigot was reversed...cold water to the left, hot water to the right. 2) bathroom's hot water was an incredibly poor trickle. It took so long to get hot, and then the wait to wet my whole cloth was ridiculous because the pressure was pretty much non-existent...but the cold water had strong, fast pressure....so irritating to have no hot water on the sink in the bathroom. And 3) the bathroom fan was ridiculously loud and intense...sounded like a whale mating call and fingernails scratching a chalkboard all at the same time. I was concerned I was disturbing the family in the unit next to ours, it was so loud. The unit was really nice...UNTIL that awful bathroom. it made being in the whole unit very uncomfortable and I really wanted to move. One thing for sure, we will never be in that unit again. We invited friends to join us, and they got a suite below us, at our request. That's the only reason I didn't complain; I knew it could be a headache moving us both. But our suite's bathroom made being in that whole unit absolutely awful. The bathroom is one of the most important features of comfort for a woman - the kitchen is the next; Well, this unit's comfort failed miserably because of that poor bathroom!...that trickling hot water and the obnoxious fan must be fixed.

The room and property offered a very good value for the price we paid. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The appliances worked as advertised including the dishwasher and clothes washer / dryer. We would stay there again.

We always love staying at Club Wyndham Kingsgate. Great spread out design. Rooms are clean. Staff is very friendly. Great location to visit places throughout Williamsburg. Our only negative in our entire experience is the checkin procedure that requires you to visit their condo sales desk to obtain your room keys (bracelets) from a pressure intense salesman. While polite, they are persistent and try to get you to meet with them to discuss purchasing a condo or time share. That's not how we want to spend our vacation time. All said, we'll be back but we'd recommend changing check in procedures.
