Birthday weekend with my family, upon arrival I noticed right away the carpet had been cut in several spots. Sliding door did not lock. Used bottle of lotion in the bathroom. Curtains stained. Very disappointing after the amount of money the room cost and resort fees on top of everything.

Staff was super nice and friendly. Our was a little beat up looking. There was brown smudge up high on the walls above the beds plus therr was somewhere underneath one the beds was no going to attempt to figure it out.

This was the best property i have stayed at in VA. Top notch service AND via text!!! Delicious espresso in room!!! Excellent pool; excellent marina. The worst problem with the room(deluxe king) were the spiders in the room but they didn’t bother us. Although king room description states sleeps3, had only one king bed ( no rollaway.) Wifi never worked- but they refunded us for that. Front desk gave me the wrong description for the buffet breakfast- she said “continental breakfast”- its much more than that, so being given wrong information was annoying. These issues were cleared up with management- therefore… Cant wait to go back for a longer stay!

The service is lacking as it’s hard to get attention from staff in the restaurant. Had a hard time at the gate in front of the resort, as the security guard yelled that visitors have a different lane than the residents, but the sign was not visible when we arrived at night.

The staff is very helpful, however the rooms need an urgent renovation, they are dingy. The cleaninless of the room can be improved as my room had traces of the previous guest. The gym is well equipped but I noticed mats were not clean and overall guests did not wipe the equipment after use. The marina was wonderful.
