The bypass road has a plethora of mid-range hotels. We did our homework and have stayed in this hotel twice. Both times choosing an efficiency/ one bedroom, not for the food preparation area but for the size and spaciousness. I don't agree with the very cold gray decorating schemes. But that is personal.

Hotel clean, good breakfast, safe location. AC in room did not work. We did not realize it until we had been in the room for about an hour which at that time it was late, we had showered and unpacked so decided to go to bed but unfortunately it was warm, stuffy and not a good night sleep. We are supposed to get 30% refund but so far nothing.

The check in was great (Michelle). Upon arriving to my room, i heard the high pitch noise. I called the front and they responded immediately. The refrigerator had some issue. When unplugged it went away. They didn't want to keep it unplugged because it would leak so I had to plug and unplug throughout my stay. The bed needs to be replaced. When I walk in the room I could see it sag/dip in the middle. When I sat on it, it squeked and I could feel the springs while setting on it. There was hair around the toilet and I found hair on one of the face clothes as well. This room needs a new bed. Breakfast was good and stock. The entrance (recepion) area was clean and updated. Probably won't stay here again. I had reservations for only one night.

The staff, especially the ladies who prepared the morning breakfast, were absolutely wonderful!! The only issue we had was that the "summer staff", as we were told are VISA workers rom Jamaica, stay in the basement floor rooms, and unfortunately for 2 days, we had to put up with strong smells from their cooking, loud music and conversation.

Good check in. Check out was mediocre at best. No asking about stay or if a receipt was needed. Room was clean except for some stains on the carpet. Comfortable bed and pillows.
