Charming Chateau

Lovely old chateau with amazing features. Very close to cognac for great food. Owner was very welcoming and helpful, his home was charming and very traditionally french in decor. Breakfast was a veritable feast including fresh eggs from his own chickens and more varieties of teas than you can wave a stick at. We loved it and would certainly stay again and his recommendation for food was spot on.

A peaceful haven

We needed a spacious, warm and comfortable accommodation for 11 nights in January whilst moving into our new (old) French house. We found all this at Chateau Champ Blanc just outside Cognac. Our hosts Seb & Aude were very friendly and helpful, and Aude’s breakfasts were very special. They invited us to a dinner with their English speaking friends which was a fun evening with great food and wine and their delightful children.
