- Last 1/4 mile of neighborhood road is steep with some gravel sections. Driveway is steep but paved with a turn-around and parking area. Any car is fine most of the year but AWD or 4WD is recommended for the area after snow.

Great cabin, great location, clean and spacious. Note: the drive up the mountain and especially the driveway down to the property is steep so make sure you have a decent vehicle to access the site.

The cabin was awesome. My son and I were looking for some well deserved rest and relaxation and this place was it. It was peaceful and quiet with lots of birds singing and the sound of the creek running was very pleasant. We had a great time in The Man Cave game room. We hope to visit again next year.

Host was extraordinarily welcoming and the environment and setup of the cabin felt like you were back at home. Host made sure that all the essentials you might need were provided at the cabin and was nice enough to give enough to last a few days like toilet paper, paper towels, and coffee pods. One of the best getaways you could ask for, would absolutely return in the future!

Great stay at the property. It was very nice and clean. The location was secluded and you could hear the waterfall in the distance. Enjoyed the many games and activities provided. Would be happy to stay here again.

We had a marvelous 4 day stay escaping the Florida heat and enjoying the mountain lifestyle! This is a first-class rental with an immaculate cabin stocked with the essentials to make the things hassle free from beginning to end. We absolutely LOVED staying at the Lazy Laurel Cabin! Jamie was quick to respond to any message (although we didn't have to reach out-other than to request an extra night) and we had all we needed for a relaxing 3 night getaway. This cabin is perfectly located between Ellijay and Blue Ridge where we enjoyed the shops and dining. Our dog loved the gated porch where he could sunbathe and take in the fresh air. And the view, so spectacular. We even loved the rain on the metal roof. Thank you, for a relaxing vacation.

Mountain getaway

We had a great time at this cabin! The roads leading to the cabin can be a little intimidating at first, however it was so nice to be away from all the hustle and bustle of town!
