Things that were spot on: The use of the pool; convenient parking; gardens and meditative space; 24/7 hot water for tea and AM coffee for coffee drinkers; nearby restaurants; lots of towels and pillows so no need to clean room daily for shorter stay guests; walking trails; entry by the east entrance; wildlife & bird song; the historic cross. Things to improve upon; the hallways have a bad odor or an odd Christmas potpourri fragrance wafting about; staff did not seem to be able to answer questions about on site events or church service information; some staff friendly but not all were trained in true customer service; there was no porter to offer services for seniors to bring in their suitcases and other items by cart at least up to the floor where they are staying or to load near cars since no shelter to load under when raining.
