The lady that checked me in was rude and unfriendly. Perhaps it was my fault for being so happy to enjoy my 42nd wedding anniversary at your hotel. Her bad attitude helped me to understand that because she has a job it does not mean she has to be excited about the people that are happy in her presence.

Don’t do it

When I arrived at 3:00 my room wasn’t ready and was told wouldn’t be for another hour. The place was a mess, run down, old. It actually looked like the motel from a horror film. Everyone was walking around smoking even though it said it was smoke free. In short I couldn’t stay there one hour let alone all night.

Great value for your money.

Beautiful location, quiet, well-kept, and super-friendly staff. My son and I stayed here on an overnight trip to visit WCU as a potential college destination. It was a football weekend so we booked here instead of in Silva where we usually stay when we visited with his sister due to the steep rate hikes. We were not disappointed.
