Everything about the accomodation was perfect. A winter stay was met with a log fire in the lounge. The breakfast was a la carte and gorgeous. Nothing was too much for the staff.

A lovely stay. Car park was difficult to find, quite full. Entrance was also a little difficult to find, but once we did, the staff were lovely and accommodating. Lady from reception walked us right up to our room and welcomed us in. Made sure we were sorted for dinner plans etc. The standard room was great, very warm and cosy, lots of room. Bathroom was great and very clean. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, we were given a menu with lots of good options. We went with toast and croissants to share, then eggs royale and poached eggs with avocado. Everything was cooked to perfection. Staff at breakfast were also lovely and very attentive and fast. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anybody.

I absolutely loved my stay at The Slaughters Country Inn. The whole place has this slow-paced, charming atmosphere that makes you instantly relax. The venue itself is gorgeous — full of character and set in one of the most picturesque areas I’ve visited. The coffee deserves a special mention: it was the best I’ve had on this entire trip so far. Paired with the peaceful surroundings, it made my morning feel perfect. There’s also an amazing walk right on the doorstep, which made exploring the area even better. I’d return in a heartbeat… in fact, I just might.
