The lake stretches out in front of you, framed by trees and sky. You step onto the deck, take a breath, and realize… you don’t need to go anywhere.
Mornings start with coffee and still water. Maybe someone casts a fishing line off the dock. Maybe someone else stays wrapped in a blanket, watching the light move across the lake.
By midday, the dock becomes your home base — swimming, paddleboarding, or simply floating while the occasional boat passes in the distance. Lunch turns into an easy, shared meal back at the house, with the BBQ going and doors open to let the breeze in.
Inside, the cabin is warm, comfortable, and designed for connection. Board games come out, conversations linger, and the fully stocked kitchen makes cooking together part of the experience — not a chore.
As the sun drops, dinner moves outside. Glasses clink, stories stretch, and the sky shifts into something unforgettable. Nights end the way they should — quiet, full, and under a sky full of stars.

25 Mile Creek State Park is just a mile up the road, offering gas (watercraft), a small convenience store, and a boat launch with trailer parking for a small fee.

KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK:
This home is designed for guests who appreciate a more natural, secluded lake experience:
- There is a short, narrow walkway (~100 ft) from parking down to the home
- Parking is located at the top of the hill (max 3 vehicles)
- No central A/C (an East facing home with basement, and a mini split + whole house fan help cool the space)
- Limited to no cell service at the home (WiFi calling works well)
- Dock availability may vary slightly with lake levels
- Located ~25 minutes from downtown Chelan

CHELAN COUNTY VACATION RENTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SOUTHSHORE FAMILY ESCAPE:
1. Max Occupancy: 8 guests (max 6 adults)
2. Max number of vehicles: 3 vehicles
3. Quiet Hours: 9pm-8am (Sun-Thu) & 10pm-8am (Fri-Sat)
4. No trash left outside of provided trash receptacles
5. No trespassing into neighbors’ properties
6. Renters will follow all and any county mandated burn bans
VERIFIED VIOLATIONS BY THE CITY OF MANSON OR COUNTY OF CHELAN AND/OR COMPLAINTS MADE BY NEIGHBORS CAN RESULT IN ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:
1. $250 fine per violation by the county (thousands more for burn ban violations)
2. Forfeit of guests’ damage deposit and/or refundable property fee
3. Immediate eviction
4. Homeowners & hosts may lose their permit to operate

PARKING:
Parking is permitted for three vehicles and located at the top of the hill, we will provide aerial photos to help navigate parking. Boat and trailer parking are not permitted due to very limited space available. Please do not block access to the neighbors' driveway. If you’re bringing a boat or jet ski(s), please be sure to let us know and we can help provide more details for where to rent moorage and park your trailer.
BOATS & WATER ACCESS:
You'll be able to enjoy hanging out on the dock and jumping into the lake. Please note due to gusty winds and large waves caused by passing boats, we strongly advise guests not to tie up to the dock for long periods of time. Temporary usage of the dock for loading is allowed. Anchoring of boats is not allowed due to water supply lines that run in the lake. Boat and insurance details are required. If you’re bringing or renting a boat, please be sure to let us know and we can help provide more details. Due to fluctuating lake levels, usage of the dock may not always be available. 25 Mile Creek State Park is a mile up the road, offering boat moorage, gas, a boat launch and trailer parking for a small fee.
CAMERAS & RECORDING DEVICES:
For security purposes, we have two outdoor cameras: one at the front entrance and the other looking out towards the deck, dock and lake. These cameras monitor weather, package deliveries, security and assisting guests. There are no indoor cameras.
PETS NOT ALLOWED:
This is not a pet friendly home; however it is not pet free. Owners bring their non-hypoallergenic pets with them when using the home.
VISITING LAKE CHELAN:
Lake Chelan has a lot to offer for every group. When you are not water skiing, boating, swimming at the lake or wine tasting, you can enjoy all that downtown Chelan and Manson have to offer. In the winter time, take in the beautiful snow capped mountains and come enjoy the many events that Manson and Chelan host (Small Town Holidays, Winterfest, Red Wine & Chocolate, winery hosted dinners and so much more!).
GUEST / BOOKING REQUIREMENTS:
1. Primary renter must be 25+ years of age and MUST be staying at the property for the complete duration of the booking
2. Rental agreement must be signed after booking is accepted and provide valid ID
3. $500 security hold is required and will be placed 2 days prior to arrival and released 7 days after departure, if no issues are reported.
