Lovely room, friendly staff and the food was great- the sticky toffee pudding is worth the trip on its own. We had a meal on our room and was impressed that dessert wasn’t brought up at the same time as starters and main courses as they didn’t want the ice cream to melt. The only minor issue was the phone in the room wasn’t working so had to go to reception to order room service, and we were disappointed there were no bath robes- would have expected them in a hotel of this calibre. Otherwise a delightful stay . The hotel is ideally placed for exploring the beautiful beaches nearby.

The hotel was in need of a spruce up. Tha bar was a disappointing space, we chose to sit on the terrace. The concierge was very helpful at check in and the bar manager was very helpful and chatty. Our room was one of the lodges. A large space with very comfortable bed but let down by a very spartan bathroom. A waterfall shower only and basically toiletries. Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room. Good choice and very tasty. Staff good. Unfortunately the chairs we had were badly stained and grimly.
