I’ve always been curious about the Wayside Inn because my mom worked there a gazillion years ago when she was in high school. It’s so cozy and clean and staff was very friendly. They also upgraded us which was super nice! The only thing was outlets in the room were kind of oddly positioned— but we made it work. Also you really couldn’t have a better location for exploring Chatham downtown (the Squire and shops are right across the street). Hope to be back in the summer.

The room was spacious and clean. I love that they provide bathrobes and an umbrella to use during your stay. The bottle of Saratoga water was so good and the Keurig and mini fridge were very clean and worked great. The location was excellent and the complimentary continental breakfast was perfect to get your day started. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating.

The staff was very nice, but I froze all night on New Years Eve, the heat was blowing cold air not heat. When I called the front desk the maintenance man was already gone so Fred told me to reboot the heat system. Unfortunately it did not work, but I tried again at around 5 or 6 in the morning and it finally worked! Thank you Fred for at least the 3 hrs before I checked out for heat. I was absolutely freezing through the night. So needless to say my stay was not enjoyable. I paid a lot of money for my husband and I to have a very cold first night. That’s really not acceptable!

Wonderful staff and service! Our room a king was magnificent and linens were perfect. We did the Christmas stroll on Main Street and ended with a night cap and dessert in the tavern. Breakfast was a nice touch with fresh fruit and scones all included!

It was a fabulous stay I wish we had had more than one night! The room was super clean and spacious and the beds very comfortable. Obviously a great location close to everything. Very friendly staff as well. Will stay at the Wayside Inn again for sure.
