We welcome you to the Grande Maison du Queyras, located in the heart of the village of Château-Ville-Vieille, a place that means a lot to us and that we are happy to share. It is a family home that has remained true to itself. Authentic and full of charm, this isn't a standardized house, but a living, breathing place with its own history. The accommodation: The house is located in Château-Ville-Vieille, in the heart of the Queyras region. Here, the mountains have retained their authentic character. No large, crowded resorts, but peace and quiet, space, and unspoiled nature. In summer, everything is easy: hiking, walks, cycling, exploring the villages… Nature is everywhere, right outside the door. In winter, several smaller, more intimate resorts are nearby. Skiing, snowshoeing, snowy landscapes… in a simple and family-friendly atmosphere. The village has a lot of charm, with a leisurely pace and a truly gentle way of life. It's an ideal starting point for enjoying the Queyras region, while remaining in a peaceful setting. The House: - A large entrance hall with an unusual antique key that turns backwards, storage for everyone. - A washbasin area followed by a toilet/laundry room. - To the right of the entrance, the large, fully equipped kitchen, with a small table for coffee, 2 Coffee machines, a real gas range with a double oven and hobs, a microwave, a slicer... - After the kitchen, access to the large, sunny dining room (table for 16/18 people) with its wood-burning stove and a view of the garden. - On the other side, the impressive 77m² living room with its original vaulted ceiling, stone columns, and imposing fireplace. - A space with sofas and a projector that displays a giant screen on the wall with speakers for watching the Tour de France, Netflix, or other apps... - Upstairs, a first bathroom with a toilet. - A bedroom with three single beds, or one double bed and one single bed single.
