The hotel is beautiful - sleek and chic! Great location and stellar staff. The rooftop bar and restaurant is my favorite place in Charlottesville. (The gluten-free pizza is FANTASTIC!). The rooms are nice, but there was mildew on the shower walls the last 2 times we stayed there. The gym has some broken equipment, but that won't stop us from coming back! The best value in the area.

The hotel is a very nice facility that is well located. Great rooftop restaurant and bar and adjoining coffee shop. My only issue is that the model is unclear: it’s got a high-end look but attempts to have a hands-off, all online check-in experience. It’s unclear if the people on the lobby are empowered front desk staff or security personnel.

I loved staying at the Doyle. It’s a great location walking distance to restaurants, bars and the Saturday farmers market. The staff was very kind and helpful. They made me feel right at home. It’s a beautiful property right in the heart of Charlottesville… easy access to campus and village restaurants and night life. It is a different feel not having a human to check in… no front desk… just a code and a room assignment.
