We love pizza so once we settled in for our one night stay we walked across the entrance street for totally yummy takeout at Christian's Pizza. Next, finding our movie on the TV in the room for pizza and a movie. That was our problem. Pizza beckoning from its warm box, and we could not find the TV channel listing. Looked everywhere. Nope. We finally gave up and enjoyed supper over what we could find with random going thru channels. Turns out I found the next morning at leaving, they've done away with printed channel guides and leave it to you to realize that Channel 2 is the guide. Duh, right? My suggestion: the check-in clerk should say so at check in, and the cleaning staff should set the TV to Channel 2 before leaving. Beyond that, a good, clean, comfy stay.

The hotel was really nice. The king bed was comfortable and the walkin shower had the support rail in a perfect location. The restaurant was delicious. Traffic noise was a little loud from our room.We would stay there again.

This was the second time booking with this location. It always smells clean when you enter and you'd never know they were pet friendly unless you saw the animals as it does not smell like animals. The staff is nice, the price versus quality is within range, and it is located near a bit of everything. Will book here again, just not during certain UVA event related times as it would appear as with others...there is some price gouging.

A nice comfortable room with the amenities you need. Pool was huge. They had all you would need for a short stay. The staff was extremely professional, helpful and courteous. The only drawback was they skipped our room when house cleaning.

It was perfectly fine! Nothing fancy, but a good value for the money. My only negative interaction with staff was upon check in where I was greeted with an obscenity- laden outburst which I found highly inappropriate (he spilled something on his food which he was eating at the front desk.) I know finding good people to work is hard, but this seemed like behavior that could be redirected with training. It was quite off-putting.
