We loved everything about the hotel EXCEPT, when we were ready to check out (we're on the 4th floor) the elevator stopped working. When we called down to find out what was going on, they just said to go back to our room. We had to be somewhere else at a certain time, so we had to check out. Im 64 and my daughter has a bad back, but we had to drag our stuff down 4 flights of stairs, going up and down 4 times. When we went to check out, we saw two men- both employees of the hotel- just standing against a wall, doing nothing. Couldn't the front desk person have offered to get someone to help us bring our luggage down? We were hurting and sweaty and kind of fed up.

This is a new property that opened in the spring of 2025. It still had the shine of newness. It has very basic decor and limited amenities, this is by the brands design. We chose based on value and pet friendliness. All in, it was at least $100 less expensive (and for many properties the delta was much greater) than other options. We were in Charlottesville for a UVA football game and many hotels were priced accordingly. We chose value over other amenities, especially since we were not on property all that much over the weekend.

Larger chair for comfort. It would be nice to have a pavillion type cover to load and unload when there is wet weather. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, the window shades were excellent blocking sunlight, and the room was spacious

　I stayed one night here with my wife on the way to visit my son in Arkansas. Staff was very friendly and attentive,easy to talk to.Could enjoy free pop corn and home made cookie.Can rent cards and board game if you like. I want to come back with my children. Room was neat and clean. Breakfast was great for the price. Most of all, we could enjoy delicious fresh coffee at all times.I love it.

A very nice brand new place to stay. Front desk staff nice. room very clean, very basic, but it more than served the purpose. Would give overall 5 stars, but I have to say their internet Wi-Fi was not the best, VERY slow. Ended up using my own hot-spot. (minor problem). When in this area again I do plan on staying here. and the price was very reasonable also.

We arrived and the clerk was very friendly, but we went up to the room we were given keys for on the 4th floor, and opened the door to find people already there, so we quickly closed the door, went back to the front desk and they apologized and said it was awful that happened and assigned us a new room. This one was thankfully empty and clean. Asked for shampoo/ conditioner later, the clerk did not know where any were. Day of departure, the only elevator was not working.

The staff was friendly and kind. The check-in process took a little bit of time as there was only one individual checking-in and the hotel was at capacity. Additionally, our second room wasn't available at 4p as expected - which was fine for us but would have been inconvenient had we not had 2 rooms. Dishes, cutlery and toiletries weren't in our rooms. We also had a problem with the TVs. Whenever we asked the front desk for something, they were very quick to help or supply what was needed (the dishes, toiletries, etc.) which was appreciated. Our biggest complaint is the lack of breakfast/ breakfast options. As mentioned, the hotel was fully booked but there was minimal food provided - packets of oatmeal/ grits, a few containers of yogurt, 3 containers of hardboiled eggs, mandarin oranges and some granola bars. Food was taken quickly by the many guests and, as the shipment to restock hadn't arrived, there wasn't much for our party of 10 to enjoy. We ran to Bodo's to get bagels. This was disappointing.
