This is our favorite hotel at which we've ever stayed. It was perfectly clean, smelled fresh, everything worked, quiet, great mattresses and pillows, good price, and we loved the cute and welcoming lobby in English manor decor with the tea and cookies every afternoon. If I had remembered my swimsuit, I would have enjoyed the heated pool. If we ever come to Charlottesville again, we will definitely stay here.

The breakfast was great. Many different choices and very fresh and hot. The gal who checked us in and out was great. Gave us some good recommendations. I think the only thing I was not happy about was the pillows. My neck was some the next morning. Over all a great experience.

Excellent location with easy access to shopping, the University and interchange. Plenty of parking and in a quiet location. The facility is showing its age a bit and could use some refreshing in the rooms and bathroom. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast offered plenty of choices with some variation day to day.

Although it is an older hotel, everything was well maintained and updated. Staff was very friendly, the rooms were very well kept, The afternoon tea was nice, and the breakfast was a full breakfast with many options. I will stay here the next time we visit Charlottesville.
