**Hampton Inn Mooresville, NC - Disappointing Experience**
My recent stay at the Hampton Inn in Mooresville, North Carolina, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The check-in process was particularly frustrating. Despite using the app to check in beforehand, I was still required to visit the front desk to present my ID and credit card for incidentals. After a long day of driving, this extra step felt unnecessary and cumbersome, as I had assumed the app check-in would streamline the process.
The hotel itself is in dire need of updates. The lobby and hallways showed clear signs of wear, with ripped and torn carpets in multiple areas. The ceilings appeared neglected, with visible damage from what seemed like a past flood that hadn’t been properly addressed. Most concerning was the condition of the bathroom in my room—the tub was noticeably unclean, which made for an uncomfortable stay.
While the staff was polite, these issues significantly detracted from the overall experience. The hotel’s outdated facilities and poor maintenance make it hard to recommend. I hope management addresses these concerns to improve future guest experiences.
