Bedroom 1: True master suite located on the top floor. Features wall to wall windows overlooking the beautiful tidal marsh. - Large Deck: Gorgeous sunsets guaranteed. Outfitted with lounge furniture perfect for soaking in the sun or stargaze with one of the best views in Charleston. Start your day with yoga or host a small gathering on the 800sqft wooded deck with owners prior approval.
- 15' salt water pool located on deck. The pool can be heated if desired, the charge is done after booking at $50/day. Please message us if you would like the pool heated after you confirm your booking.
- Six person hot tub with LED lights and fountain
- Outdoor kitchen with gas grill, bar seating, sink and garbage disposal, and 6 person dining table with umbrella. Smart TV located on deck for enjoying the game while lounging in the pool
- Fire table and chairs
- Beer Pong table located under top patio deck (use and play only outside). Also a cornhole set located under the stairs.
- Private neighborhood pond perfect for fishing (lots of founder and Redfish). Bring your pole and gear!

The number of people the house can accommodate is flexible and we can configure it prior to your arrival based on your needs.
There is an electronic keypad door lock for the front door that guests will be given the code for at 8am the morning of their reservation start date.
There is parking for 5-6 vehicles on-site in the driveway. The garage is not accessible.
I am a small business owner in the area, and also live less than 5 minutes from this house. I always want to respect guests’ privacy, so I won’t be on-site unless needed.
Someone may stop by and access the garage on Sundays to set the trash and recycling by the road for pick-up Monday, and stop back by to replace them. There may also be service professionals stop by the house during your visit for routing maintenance, however I will contact to give you a heads-up.
I’m typically in the area to help with any issues during your reservation- just give me a call!

This home is located just off Folly road at the beginning of a small beach neighborhood. There are always neighbors out walking their dogs, pushing strollers, or going for a run. This is a very safe, and community oriented neighborhood. Please be respectful of our neighbors during your stay!

Just off the back deck of The Lookout is a large tributary fed pond, that connects to the marshes. Anglers, bring your rods! Most of the time you can use knee boots to walk around the pond, or hip waders at higher tide. The pond has some decent size flounder and redfish, and I recommend Crosby's approximately one mile down Folly Road for general bait and general tackle. Be sure to check out Crosby's for some of the best local fresh seafood! For a full angler shop however, I recommend The Charleston Angler (12-20 min away). You will need a SC Fishing License, IF you happen to be approached by a wildlife/DNR officer (not likely, but I told you).
There is a Walmart approximately 3 miles away, Harris Teeter (grocery store), and beach supply store across the street.
The driveway for this home will accommodate 4-5 cars.
There are exterior cameras on the driveway, pool area, and entrances for the protection of the property and guests. Noise (party prevention), carbon monoxide, and fire alarms located within.
The home allows a maximum of two dogs, which is billed separately at $50/dog/night. The back yard is completely fenced.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private balcony. Wireless internet access (surcharge) keeps you connected, and a Smart television is provided for your entertainment. Conveniences include a desk and a microwave, and housekeeping is provided on request.
Be sure to enjoy recreational amenities including an outdoor pool and a hot tub. Additional features at this vacation home include an arcade/game room, gas grills, and bike parking.

Fantastic Little Getaway

This home has EVERYTHING you could possibly need in a short term rental. I have rented several properties through short term rental agencies and have worked in short term rentals and Hospitality Management for years. This home exceeded all expectations. This was a unique situation because I am local to Charleston/James Island and permanently reside just 5 minutes from this home. We rented for a short weekend getaway to entertain our family that was from out of town. John is a wonderful host and was very communicative/responsive with any questions that came up. This rental is stocked with kitchen appliances, grill tools, pool floats etc. it included almost all items that could go unnoticed in a short term rental. K cups , trash bags, aluminum foil, ziplocks etc. This home is clean and very well maintained. We are excited to host family here in the future.
