I love the ambience of this hotel and the in-room meal from the Swamp Fox was fantastic. They also have one of the most comfortable mattresses I have slept on. This will be my go-to in Charleston.

Clean historical building with friendly staff. The Thursday cheese and crackers was perfect. Gym had enough for me—plus a stretching machine! Convenient location to everything and right across from a park. Single pane glass makes it a little loud but that’s part the charm. Starbucks in the lobby.

I had asked for the room to be cleaned in the afternoon and it was never done. A lady came in to the room at night to apologize and bring me more towels, but it’s nothing against her at all. I just felt like it should’ve been done when I asked.
