This is a great place to stay but very expensive. Our room was small and service was very good but not impeccable - it took me a long time to get into my room after I was told it would only be 15 minutes and there were no umbrellas at the concierge (only in the rooms). But if you have money to burn it's very nice.

The entire place is my favorite and there are a lot of choices in Charleston. Probably the most comfortable beds and pillows. Also, the finishes are just gorgeous. The hotel always smells incredible too and very clean. My only area of improvement, I wish they'd remember me. I've stayed there a dozen times and they always ask, "Is it your first time with us?" It would be nice to have some sort of reward program.

Stay in Charleston

The Dewberry is ideally located to explore Charleston. It’s walking distance to most places within town and close to some great restaurants, bars and museums. The rooftop bar and the ground floor bar at the Dewberry are top notch. The Ordinary and Prohibition are two great restaurants close to the hotel. The staff were great and hospitality was top notch. Overall, I had a wonderful stay here and would definitely look to book the hotel again the next time I am in Charleston.
