check in was easy and room spacious enough but very worn property. No hangers in closet; tv got only a few cable channels-three of which were sports channels(no regular network channels); worst of all was the included breakfast--same items every morning-had to ask for butter for waffle and breakfast room attendant brought me three frozen butter packets and he said that is all he had-no fruit or bread of any kind. Cannot believe Choice hotel systems wants that place as part of it's chain.

The staff were nice but seemed like their attention was elsewhere. Our room was extremely hot and when we adjusted the thermostat, the temp only went down about 3-4 degrees. Also, we couldn’t shower because the handle to the bathtub broke off and the water drained at an extremely low speed. The sheets on one bed had stains on it as well.

Apparently, the hotel is going through renovations. We were placed in a room with old paint that was bubbling, mold in corners, floors that were slick from what might be unrinsed soap, high humidity, and rusty fixtures.

The only good thing was the a/c. The shower was gross! Black mold growing on the shower chair. The shower rod was coming out of the wall. Toilet paper holder was barely hanging on the wall. The ceiling had a big brown wet spot. Thank God it was only a 1 night stay! Never again!!!!

One of the rooms I booked had an issue. The hotel was unable to accommodate a room change because they said they were sold out and since they were renovating (which is not mentioned anywhere here or while making the reservation). Apparently the water line busted in the Air conditioning condenser and leaked on the carpeted floor underneath the AC. The room had a musty smell all night. We had an early check in because of our business down that way, so we did not even get to the room until after midnight, closer to 1:00 AM. The buffet is just OK.

I enjoyed my stay it's just waiting for an hour or so after the expected check in time was an inconvenience. I was celebrating my birthday and would love to stay again. But an efficient check in time would be preferred than waiting for hours after. I should have received a discount for the night but none was offered
